Your timeline is rather ambitious and not realistic. 2025 really? That's three years away. It reads like people at the 1939 World Fair talking about 1999. You're also forgetting geopolitical issues such as getting past WWII between now and 2030.

Judging by the comments, people are not ready for what is coming and humanity itself is it's own downfall.

I am a big fan of science fiction, astronomy and astrophysics, and at a young age I was also a great optimist and foresaw a bright future for humanity. But now, during the pandemic, I have become convinced that stupidity has spread enormously among humans and that we are more likely to destroy ourselves as a species than to survive and evolve into a type 2 civilization.

Doable with a few thousand Musk types.

Yeah to be fair I think this can become reality but it will probably take 2/3 more times than what it’s planned ! As we advance humans are also becoming dumber and dumber… so there’s that ! (You just have to watch tik tok to be aware) also 100 years ago people though we would have flying cars… it’s still not there… and more recently we just had COVID that literally stopped humanity from progressing for 2/3 years (and it’s still not over), so imagine if there’s an actual dangerous (more dangerous than Covid which is only 0,1% mortal) disease going on… that will take us 10 years to get trough it. Now you just have to add wars between countries, nuclear catastrophe, hackers, global warming, revolution, people not accepting robots and wanting to change their way of life into a more traditional/ environmental life, there’s a ton of shit that will happen before we have houses on Mars.
Actually I think the day humanity has houses on Mars will be around 2200 : something like that. Just to remind you we’ve been on the moon in 1959 and we still doesn’t have any base there… it’s been more than 60 years since we walked there !!! That’s crazy ! Expect the same for Mars !! If not twice the time !
